There’s a chance of showers this weekend on Bainbridge Island, but there’s a chance there will be some sunshine, as well.

That’s the latest forecast for the island, courtesy of the National Weather Service in Seattle.

Forecasters predict a 20 percent chance of showers on Saturday, with partly sunny skies, and a high temperature near 47 degrees.

It will remain cloudy overnight, and the thermometer will dip to a low around 34.

On Sunday, the chance of showers doubles to 40 percent.

Still, expect a partly sunny day, with a high near 48.

More showers are likely overnight Sunday.

Sun mixed with rain is expected through next week.
