Saturday may be a bit wet, but the sunshine will return before the weekend is over.

That’s the latest weather forecast for the island from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

Forecasters say Bainbridge is looking at a 50 percent chance of showers on Saturday. Skies are expected to be partly sunny, with a high temperature near 55 degrees.

Saturday night, there is a 20 percent chance of showers before 11 p.m. Skies will remain partly cloudy, with a low around 39.

Come Sunday, the weather will be sunny, with a high near 60.

Sunday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 41.

The week will kick off with a 30 percent chance of showers Monday, but skies are expected to stay sunny through the week, with daytime temperatures in the low 60s.
