So long, blue skies. Bainbridge Island will have a weekend of mostly cloudy weather.
Or so says the latest forecast for the island from the National Weather Service in Seattle.
Saturday is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 73 degrees. Overnight, there is a 40 percent chance of rain and the temperature will dip to a low around 55.
On Sunday, more rain is likely, mainly after 11 a.m. The day will stay mostly cloudy, with a high near 70. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
More rain is probably coming Sunday night, and skies will stay mostly cloudy, with a low around 55.
The weather isn’t expected to improve next week.
Rain remains in the forecast through midweek, though on Wednesday, the chance of precipitation is slight, and the day is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 69.
