Sunshine is coming our way to Bainbridge Island this weekend, according to the latest forecast for the island from the National Weather Service in Seattle.
Weather-wise, Sunday will be better.
But first, Saturday.
Forecasters say there’s a 30 percent chance of rain before 10 a.m. The day will be mostly cloudy, with a high temperature near 52 degrees, before becoming partly sunny.
Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 53.
Overnight, skies will turn partly cloudy, and the temperature will drop to a low around 40.
On the Monday holiday, Martin Luther King Day may be marked with a bit of rain.
There’s a 50 percent chance of precipitation, and the day will stay mostly cloudy, with a high near 49.
Rain is likely through the rest of the week.
