Bainbridge Island is due for a sun-soaked weekend.

That’s the latest forecast for the island from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

Saturday is forecast to be mostly sunny, with a high temperature near 45 degrees.

It will turn partly cloudy overnight, dropping to a low around 29.

Come Sunday, expect more sunny skies, and a high near 43. Overnight it will stay mostly clear, but the thermometer will drop even lower, to around 27.

Sunshine remains in the forecast through Tuesday, with daytime temperatures in the low 40s. A slight chance of rain is expected Wednesday and Thursday.
