Friday’s sunny and hot, hot, hot weather on Bainbridge Island will stretch into the weekend and beyond.

That’s the latest forecast for the Rock from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

Saturday will be sunny, with a high temperature near 87 degrees. There will be a calm wind (becoming northeast around 5 mph) in the afternoon.

Saturday night will be clear with a low around 60.

Come Sunday, sunny and toasty weather prevails with a high near 90.

Overnight, the temp will dip to a low around 59.

Sunny weather with days in the 80s are expected to continue through next week, though some partly cloudy skies will enter the picture midweek.
