Looks likely, according to the National Weather Service’s office in Seattle.

The weather forecast for Bainbridge Island predicts a partly sunny Independence Day, with a high near 71 degrees. At night, it will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 51.

Going into the holiday weekend, however, islanders can expect a slight chance of rain or drizzle on Saturday morning, turning to a slight chance of showers after 11 a.m.

It is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 73.

On Sunday, the chance of showers increases to 40 percent. It will remain mostly cloudy, and the temperature is expected to hit a high near 72.
