Bainbridge Island may see a bit of rain this weekend, but hopefully the clouds will part for a somewhat sunny Fourth of July holiday.
That’s the latest forecast for the island from the National Weather Service in Seattle.
Saturday will see a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 11 a.m. It will remain cloudy, with a high temperature rising to near 68 degrees.
On Saturday night, the chance of showers (30 percent) persists. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 53.
Come Sunday, same old, same old — 30 percent chance of showers in the morning, followed by a mostly cloudy day with a high near 67.
A chance of showers remains overnight Sunday, with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 51.
The threat of possible showers extends through Monday, with partly sunny weather in the forecast for Tuesday and the Independence Day holiday.
For July 4, a high near 73 is expected.
