Bainbridge Island may see some rain this weekend, but the sun should return for the Memorial Day holiday.
That’s the latest weekend weather forecast for the island from the National Weather Service in Seattle.
Forecasters are predicting a 30 percent chance of showers for Saturday, mainly after 11 a.m. It will be cloudy, with a high temperature near 61 degrees.
A chance of showers (30 percent) will persist Saturday night. Skies will stay mostly cloudy, and the overnight temperature is expected to dip to a low around 48.
On Sunday, the weather will be partly sunny, with a high near 70.
The forecast for Memorial Day is sunny weather, with a high near 75.
Mostly sunny weather — with temperatures in the low 70s — will stick around for the rest of the week.
