After a stretch of sunshine last week, Bainbridge Island weather will return to the old normal this weekend with rain, rain, rain.
That’s the latest forecast for the island from the National Weather Service in Seattle.
Saturday will be mostly cloudy, and there’s a 40 percent chance of showers. The high temperature is expected to crest near 48 degrees, with a south wind of 6 to 8 mph becoming east southeast in the afternoon.
More rain is forecast overnight, and rain is increasingly likely again on Sunday.
The chance of rain Sunday is 70 percent, and between a tenth and quarter of an inch is possible.
The high will be near 49.
Rain is expected to continue through next week.
