The sunshine will return to Bainbridge Island this weekend after a gray end to the workweek.
That’s the latest forecast for the island from the National Weather Service in Seattle. Rainy weather is expected to stick around for a little bit before the sun comes back out.
On Saturday, there is a 20 percent chance of showers before 11 a.m. It will be cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high temperature near 75 degrees.
It will be partly cloudy Saturday night, with the low dropping to around 55.
The forecast for Sunday is mostly sunny skies, with a high near 81.
It will turn partly cloudy overnight, with a low around 56.
Sunny weather with temperatures in the mid to high 80s will return before midweek.
