Bainbridge Island will go through Mother Nature’s car wash once again this weekend.
That’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service in Seattle: showers, showers and showers.
Saturday is expected to see showers, likely after 11 a.m. The thermometer will top out with a high near 57 degrees.
The chance of rain is 80 percent, and new precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch are possible.
The low will drop to around 44 overnight.
Come Sunday, there’s a 50 percent chance of showers. It will be cloudy, with a high near 59.
More showers are forecast for Sunday night, with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 46.
Rain is expected to continue through early next week.
