Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office has found a vehicle possibly involved in a fatal hit and run collision in Suquamish Tuesday night.
KCSO found a maroon late 1990’s Mazda B-Series pickup that possibly had damage to the passenger side headlights. The vehicle was seen westbound on Totten Road at a high rate of speed immediately after the collision.
The collision occurred shortly after 5 p.m. Nov. 10 at the 18000 block of Suquamish Way when the suspect vehicle reportedly struck a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was identified as 43- year- old Tricia L. Garduno, a Suquamish resident. Despite life-saving efforts from North Kitsap Fire & Rescue Garduno died at the scene.
Traffic was shut down for hours as KCSO, NKF&R, and Suquamish police investigated. Traffic was also temporarily shut down at the scene Nov. 11 while Suquamish PD took drone surveillance.
