Alan J. McLachlan, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013 at his home in Poulsbo. He was 64.
He was born on July 4, 1949 in Dublin, Ireland. Alan was an engineer at Keyport and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and he was a friend to many.
Alan was always willing to go out of his way to lend a hand. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and wood turning as well as fishing, bow hunting and camping. He was known for his sense of humor and practical jokes. He enjoyed listening to Celtic music, loved nature and the outdoors.
Alan is survived by his daughter Stacy Fabrizzio and her husband Robert of Bellevue, Neb.; granddaughter Robyn Fabrizzio of Bellevue, Neb.; nephew Ryan Koreski and his wife Megan of Seattle; nephew Connor Koreski of Oakland, Calif.; and niece Gemma Koreski of Ellensburg. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Judy McLachlan and sister Jacinta McLachlan.
