Ann Klingbeil Lantz, of Bainbridge Island, died on May 9. She was 71.

The daughter of Alice and Bert Klingbeil, she along with her siblings, Chuck and Rich Klingbeil, was raised on Bainbridge and graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1955. After graduation she attended medical school and eventually worked in various positions from nursing to executive administration.

She was the mother of Mari Wells, the late Robert Lantz and Rick Lantz. She was the grandmother of Jeff, Sarah, Christopher, Jordon, Justin, Megan, and Marissa.

At her request, there was no service.
