Annette Maria Cornpropst, aged 93, passed on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Wyatt House on Bainbridge Island, Washington.

She was born December 27, 1925 in Columbus Indiana to Charles and Letha Harrell. She married John D (Jack) Cornpropst on November 11, 1950 who passed on April 7, 1996. Annette is survived by 2 daughters, Luann Zirkle of Ohio, Patty (Norman) Carmony of Manilla, Indiana; a son, David (Lois) Cornpropst of Bainbridge Island, Washington; 6 grandchildren (a 7th preceded her in death), and several great grand children.

Annette spent the majority of her life in the Midwest (Indiana, Ohio), retiring from RCA (Indianapolis) in 1984. Prior to moving to the West coast (California, Washington) in 2007, she was a very active member of the Rays Crossing Christian Union church; playing the piano, participating in Ladies Aid, etc.. She enjoyed working in the garden- even trying to raise “Indiana” tomatoes in Washington and loved to make pies for any and all events.

A celebration of life open house (with pie!) will be held from 1-3 pm, Friday, February 8 at Rays Crossing Christian Union church (Rays Crossing, Indiana), followed by a graveside service officiated by Reverend Doug Sharp at 4:30pm at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, Indiana.
