Arthur Walton Beach, age 85, died Oct. 5.

He was born Aug. 25, 1927 and grew up on Bainbridge Island, graduating from Bainbridge High School in 1946.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a resident of Snohomish County for over 40 years.

He is survived by five children and 14 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Alderwood Manor Community Church, 3403 Alderwood Mall Blvd. in Lynnwood.
