Audrey Hall-Mendoza

August 6, 1926 – June 4, 2015

On Thursday, June 4th our beloved mother, Audrey Hall-Mendoza passed away peacefully, surrounded by her compassionate caregivers

at Fir Acres group home on Bainbridge Island.

Audrey was born in Larchmont, New York, on August 6, 1926. She was the last surviving member of her generation. Audrey’s 3 daughters, Beth Rowan( Russ), Alice Mendoza( Carl Lindbloom) and Laura Rolsky(Robert) as well as her seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her many friends, have been and will continue to be inspired by her legacy of being an active citizen, passionately devoted to a wide range of local and global causes.

Mom had an insatiable curiosity about the world. She was an avid reader who lived a cozy and contented life in the Santa Cruz Mountains, surrounded by her books and beloved redwood trees.
