Beatrice Loretta Cutler Hodgkins

July 18, 1932 – August 6, 2011

      Beatrice Loretta Cutler Hodgkins, a fifteen year resident of Bainbridge Island passed away on August 6, 2011.

      Born in Illinois, Beatrice moved to Seattle/Tacoma area when she was a young child. Beatrice graduated from Annie Wright Seminary and pledged Kappa Alpha Theta at University of Washington. While working at KOMO, Beatrice met the love of her life, George Clinton Hodgkins, who was enlisted at Fort Lewis. The couple married shortly after and moved to California to start a family.

      Beatrice was preceded in death by George, and is survived by her five children and their families. Gayle Hodgkins Clark of Newport Beach, CA, Phillip Hodgkins of Encino, CA, Elizabeth Hodgkins Gadbois of Bainbridge Island, WA, David Hodgkins of Corona del Mar and Julia Hodgkins Bruening of Newport Beach, CA.
