Poulsbo resident Betty M. Smith, age 66, died Nov. 3 in Bremerton.

She was born April 18, 1936 in in Oklahoma City, Okla., to David and Ella Strauss.

She married Rex E. Smith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed knitting and painting and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Smith is survived by her sons Kerry Smith and Martin Smith of Poulsbo, and two grandchildren.

Her husband, Rex Smith, preceded her in death earlier this year.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Nov. 16 at the First Baptist Church and will be followed by inurnment at Silverdale Cemetery.
