Beverly June (Stevens) Gustavson, 90

Beverly June (Stevens) Gustavson died April 28.

Beverly was born to John and Karen (Salveson) Stevens May 4, 1919 in Seattle.

Beverly married her husband Glenn Gustavson in 1940. During their 68 years of marriage, they traveled the world.

An accomplished cellist, Beverly played in the Seattle All City Orchestra, the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra and the Port Townsend Symphony. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church on Bainbridge Island.

She was preceded in death by husband Glenn Gustavson.

She is survived by a daughter Karla Waterman (Gary) of Bainbridge Island; son Michael (Joan) of Southworth; four grandchildren Andrew Waterman, Charles Waterman (Robin), J.B. Waterman and Kaaren Caraway (T.J.); great grandchildren Alexis Caraway and Cole Waterman; a brother John Stevens (Marla); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A burial service is at 11 a.m. May 4 at the Quilcene Cemetery. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. June 5, at Bethany Lutheran Church.
