Carleta Meyer

      Carleta “Hank” Meyer was born on Oct. 5, 1922 in Seattle, the daughter of Carl and Leta Williams.

      Carleta attended St. Nicholas School and the University of Washington. She married Lt. Philip Carl Meyer in 1941 and they had three children. They spent their retirement years on Bainbridge Island.

      Carleta was a member of the Seattle Yacht Club and the Sunset Club.

      Carleta is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Tim) Crawford; grandchildren, Bo (Laura) Weingaertner, Jamey (Davina) Weingaertner, Trev Meyer and Tegan (Cam) Clise; great grandchildren, Lily, Mindy, Nate and Hank Weingaertner; Carly and Lauren Weingaertner; Taylour, Codie and Broden Clise.

      Friends are invited to join the family at 4 p.m. July 19 to celebrate her life at the Seattle Yacht Club.

      Remembrances may be made to Children’s Orthopedic Hospital or the charity of your choice.
