Carrol L. Cashin
June 7, 1942 – August 24, 2016
Carrol Lee Cashin, age 74, of Bainbridge Island, passed away on Aug. 24, 2016 at Harrison Hospital, surrounded by family.
Carrol was born on June 7, 1942 in Seattle. She spent her childhood on the East Coast and later returned to the Pacific Northwest where she had a fulfilling career as a registered nurse and raised her children.
She was a compassionate woman who never met a stranger. Her love knew no bounds and everyone became “family”; Her kindness and generosity were unrivaled.
Carrol is survived by her husband of 19 years, John Cashin. Their marriage was one of passion and laughter, and they radiated love to those around them.
Other survivors include her daughter Allyson Wallis; sons Jaime Baker, Keith Mayernik and step-son Jeff Mayernik; nine grandchildren, Shawnee, Gabriel, Hunter, Logan, Annika, Kyle, Keaton, David, and Anthony; and four great-grandchildren, Abel, Reagan, Connor and Cohen.
A memorial service will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at the Kiana Lodge, 14976 Sandy Hook Road NE, Poulsbo.
