Collin Robert Betz

February 22, 1995 – July 26, 2015

It is with heavy hearts we must announce that Collin Robert Betz passed away on Sunday, July 26th, 2015 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. He was surrounded by his sister and parents in his final moments.

He was born on February 22, 1995 in Seattle and was 20 years old. He was raised on Bainbridge Island. Collin loved music, especially punk rock, and enjoyed jamming on the drums with his friends. He rocked a bold sense of style that he came to be known for.

He was an enthusiastic member of the Bainbridge Boxing Club, where he found a tight-knit community. Collin was a lover of animals and spent his time volunteering at the Humane Society.

Collin was a kind and generous person with a contagious sense of humor. He will be missed dearly by his friends and family.

Collin is survived by his parents, Scott and Gail Betz, and his sister Mallory Betz. Collin was preceded in death by his older brother, Brian Michael Betz. Collin loved his older brother deeply and it brings us comfort to know that they are now together.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday August 1st at 11am at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church on Bainbridge Island. Interment will take place at Port Blakely Cemetery on the Island. Arrangements entrusted to Cook Family Funeral Home.
