Longtime Bainbridge Island resident Dennis Harrington died Oct. 19 in his home on Old Creosote Hill.

He was born Feb. 25, 1953, in Maryland to Paul and Dee Harrington, the youngest of five boys. He moved to the Seattle area at 14.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Gerri, his two daughters Addie and Nora, and his four brothers.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 22 at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church. At his request, remembrances can be made to the Bainbridge High School theater.
