Edna Ruth Ernsdorff, age 95, beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, neighbor, and bridge player, peacefully left this world for heaven on Friday, March 22, 2019. She had been at home on Bainbridge Island in the care of her family for the last two weeks after trying her darnedest to recover from a fall, and then from surgery, and finally, pneumonia. She was one tough gal but the triple whammy was just too much. Born in Tripp County, South Dakota on September 14, 1923, she was the daughter of James and Martha (Emme) Edwards. We sure will miss her.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Helpline House on Bainbridge or the Bainbridge Island Senior Center. There will be a memorial Sunday April 14th at 3 p.m. at the Bainbridge Senior Center.
