Ella Eleanor Reid, age 84

      Ella Eleanor Reid passed away on January 11th at her home in Aloha, Ore.

      Ella was born on March 15, 1928 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada to Francis Eugene Munn and Sarah Ann (Gilligan) Munn. She attended high school and college in Montreal. In April of 1952 she married John Morrison Reid. A few years later they moved to Bainbridge Island, where they raised their three sons. They later moved to Aloha, Oregon, due to John’s position as an Insurance Executive, where they retired.

      Ella worked a short time for Washington State Ferry Concessions and the Martinique Restaurant. She was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church and Wing Point Golf & Country Club. Ella was an avid tennis player and very devoted to her family.

      Ella is survived by her husband, John; sons Warren and Kevin (Cindy); grandsons William, David and Michael; and great granddaughters Cassandra and Danielle; and brother, Dick Munn. Ella was preceded in death by their son, Brent.

      Graveside service will be Feb. 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetary on Old Mill Road, Bainbridge Island, WA. Friends are invited to attend.
