Frances Ann Morgan

      Frances Ann Morgan, 58, died Sept. 20 in Olympia.

      Fran grew up in the Seattle area and spent most of her adult life in Olympia, where she raised her son and stepson, and later in Kamilche, where she has lived for over 20 years. She attended The Evergreen State College and had a radio show on KAOS for eight years.

      Fran is survived by her life partner Michael Diamond and his children Carly and Kevin, of Kamilche; her son Morgan Tougas and his wife Chie and son Dean, ; stepson Aaron Olson; her parents Luke and Lilian Morgan of Bainbridge Island; brothers Luke, and John of Bainbridge Island; sisters Patricia, Kathleen, Eileen, Mary, Leanne of Bainbridge Island, Jane, and Jean; dozens of nieces and nephews and countless friends and fellow artists.

      Memorial contributions can be sent to the Kitsap County Immigration Center, PO Box 1441 Silverdale, WA, 98383 or any of the many organizations Fran was interested in assisting. Fran’s life will be remembered and celebrated at a public gathering at The Evergreen State College Longhouse at 1 p.m. Oct. 9. A mass will also be said in her honor at 9 a.m. Oct. 15 at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church.
