Gerald Lawrence McCabe, 92
Gerald Lawrence McCabe died in his sleep Jan. 19 in Eugene, Ore. with family at his side. He was 82.
Founder of the legendary folk music emporium, McCabe’s Guitar Shop, and an award-winning furniture designer, Gerald was an artist, designer, craftsman, race car driver, tug boat operator, yoga instructor and a friend to many.
McCabe lived his life on his own terms while simultaneously touching many lives in many ways.
He is survived by his daughters Hally McCabe (Ane McKee) of Eugene, and daughter Molly McCabe (Clive Pardy); and grandchildren Kendra and Logan Pardy of Bainbridge Island.
