Irene Tillie Killingsworth, age 85, a resident of Island Health and Rehabilitation, died July 20.

She was born Dec. 22, 1919 in Mangum, Okla., to Henry and Lillie Lou (Burkhart) Hughes.

She was a beautician for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Killingsworth.

She is survived by her brother, Carter Hughes; her daughter and son-in-law, Lynda Ann and Wil Blaine of Bainbridge Island; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be held July 29 in Bakersfield, Calif.. Burial will be at Green Lawn Southwest Cemetery, also in Bakersfield.
