James Charles Willmann, (Jim), passed away Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018 at Northwoods Lodge in Silverdale with his beloved family at his side.
Born in San Antonio, Texas July 27, 1933, he was the son of the late Howard Fred and Marguerite Graham Willmann and was 85 years of age.
Jim attended Texas A&M where he received his bachelor’s degree after which he attended University of Florida where he would attain his master’s degree.
After receiving his master’s, Jim would go on to work for the EPA for 25 years overseeing work in Oil, Pollution and Hazardous Chemical Control.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Deanie (nee Conklin); his beloved children, including two sons Frank and wife Amy, Doug and wife Kate; his daughter Debra Lampe and her husband Chris; along with five adored grandchildren, Lindsay, Hailey, Steven Blymeyer, Sam Lampe and Nick Lampe; and three adored great-grandchildren Matt, Benjamin and Atticus; and his loving sister BettyAnn and her husband Don Smith.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of Resurrection at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, 1310 Madison Ave. North, Bainbridge Island. The inurnment will be made at Kane Cemetery on Bainbridge Island.
