Joshua (Josh) Moyer was a loving man who adored his family and would do anything for his friends. Josh’s time with us was vibrant, authentic and much too brief. He passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2016. He was a son, father, brother, uncle, nephew and dear friend.
Josh lived a full life in his short 45 years. He went from studying abroad in college and growing up in the Pacific Northwest to living on both the East and West Coast working and living life to the fullest. He grew up on Bainbridge Island but eventually ended up in La Ribera, Baja California Mexico.
Josh’s hospitality and love of people found him at home running a Hacienda Bed & Breakfast with his wife and boys.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lopez Moyer of La Ribera, Baja California Mexico, his sons, Francisco (Obed) and Jacob, his brother Jason (Laurie) Moyer of Snoqualmie, Washington, his mother J. Gail Moyer of Bothell, Washington and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles from Florida and New York, Washington and Mexico. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Moyer.
Josh’s family is grateful to his friends that visited him in Mexico over the years and have graciously supported his wife and boys in La Ribera, Mexico with his unexpected passing. A celebration of Josh’s life will be from 6 to 9:30 p.m. May 21, at Waterfront Community Park on Bainbridge Island.
