Judy Lynn Crumpton Knudson, of Port Ludlow, died at home on May 23 of breast cancer. Her husband, Steve Knudson, her son, Ketch, and her two sisters, Sarah Frances and Barbara, were at her bedside.
She was born on June 9, 1950 on Bainbridge Island to Atlas and Chilene Crumpton and lived on the island for 54 years.
On June 3, 2006 she married Steve Knudson and moved to Port Ludlow.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Atlas and Chilene Crumpton; brothers Dean Atlas Crumpton and James Steven Crumpton; and sister Betty Gail Crumpton.
She is survived by her husband, Steve; son Ketch; brothers Joe Crumpton of Kent, Robert Wayne Crumpton of Bremerton and Steve Allen Crumpton of Bainbridge; sisters Barbara Shipman of Sequim and Sarah Frances Blossom-Hattick of Port Ludlow; two nieces, Tricia Blossom Boyle and Pamela Swenson; six nephews, Mark Blossom, Gene Johnson, Jessie Crumpton, Jason Crumpton, David Crumpton and Terry Crumpton; and two godchildren, Tiffany and Michael.
A visitation took place on May 27 at Cook Family Funeral Home and a funeral service on May 28 at Port Madison Lutheran Church, followed by interment at Seabold Cemetery.
