Lee R. Strandberg

August 22, 1954 – August 1, 2016

Lee R. Strandberg, 61, passed away on Monday, Aug. 1, 2016 at his home in Kingston, Washington.

He was born on Aug. 22, 1954 in Spokane, Washington until the age of 13 when he moved with his mother to Bainbridge Island, Washington. Lee graduated from Bainbridge Island High School and retired from the Washington State Ferries. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Lee was loved by all who knew him. His generosity, humor and fun spirit were contagious. He love to go camping, gardening and be a “Mr. Fixit”. He enjoyed cars and telling stories.

The family wants everyone to know how much he enjoyed sharing his life with you, and to remember the good times.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Strandberg; children, Sierra and Gray Strandberg of Kingston; his stepson, Mike Morello (Jennie) of Kingston; granddaughter Jade Morello; and brother Ken Strandberg of Spokane. Lee also leaves behind many wonderful family members and friends, young and old from Washington and beyond.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joanne Spalding Stacy.
