Lisa Ann Jacobsen

Lisa Ann Jacobsen died at her home on April 27.

She was born at Swedish Medical Center on July 11, 1955. She resided in Seattle until 1963 when her family moved to Bainbridge Island.

Lisa graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1973, and married Michael Dolph in 1973. They had two children.

As a single mom, Lisa attended Seattle Community College where she earned a nursing degree. She worked for several years in Seattle area hospitals, including Swedish, University Medical Center and Harborview where she earned a “Nurse of the Year” award. After retirement, Lisa attended Seattle University.

She spent the last few weeks of her life meeting new caring friends as a member of the Bainbridge Island Senior Center, her last refuge.

She was survived by parents Gilbert and Martha Jacobsen; brother Christopher Jacobsen; children Martha Carrie, son Michael Dolph II; former husband, Michael Dolph I; and grand-daughter Martha.

Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. May 8 at Bainbridge Bethany Lutheran Church, 7968 Finch Rd. NE.
