Lisa (Elizabeth Ann) Williams, travel agent extraordinaire, died at Harrison Hospital on February 26 at the age of 71.
Lisa was born in Pennsylvania as a member of a large, Italian family. After completing a four-year BS degree in Pennsylvania, she worked for the World Affairs Council and traveled the world in preparation for a career in the travel industry.
She spent a few years managing a travel agency in Devon, Pennsylvania before relocating to Seattle and joining The Travel Exchange, currently known as Bainbridge Travel. Eventually, she moved with the agency to Bainbridge Island.
From her earliest days in the travel industry, Lisa became known and loved as a dedicated professional and a great source of knowledge, both by her clients and her fellow travel agents. She was an honorary family member to many and developed a large group of clients, both locally and nationally. If a client needed help at midnight, Lisa would willingly be there to help! She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her Aunt and several cousins on the East Coast.
