Marilyn Hirschfeld, 74

Marilyn L. Hirschfeld died Oct. 17, at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton. She was 74.

Marilyn was born Aug. 2, 1935 and grew up in Berkeley, Calif. She lived on Bainbridge Island for 21 years.

Marilyn worked as a legal secretary and a paralegal for the attorney general’s office, first for the state of Washington and subsequently for Child Protective Services. Marilyn retired 11 years ago and has since travelled extensively with her husband. She was active with the homeowner’s association at Bill Point.

Marilyn is survived by her husband William G. Hirschfeld, Jr; two children, Mary Hirschfeld and Stuart Hirschfeld; sister Janet Schwab, and three grandchildren.
