Myrna Elaine Anderson of Bainbridge Island died on July 17, 2014 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton. She was 74.
She was born March 1, 1940 in Bellevue to Clifford and Vita Mae Ogden and grew up in Bothell, graduating from Bothell High School.
She married Richard Anderson in 1962 in Seattle, where they had three daughters, Laurie, Pamela and Kimberly.
The family moved to Bainbridge Island in 1969, where she lived in the family home until 2010.
She worked as a bookkeeper and loved to knit and crochet, garden, travel, babysit and spend time with her family. She was an active member of Christ Memorial Church, Rolling Bay Presbyterian & Cross Sound Church.
Her fun-loving spirit, generosity, strong faith, encouraging words and willingness to pray for those in need, will live forever in the hearts and memories of her family and friends.
She is survived by two brothers, Gene and Ken Ogden; her three daughters; six grandchildren, Rebecca, Justin, James, Naomi, Courtney and Austin; and two great-grandchildren, Cameron and Snowlynn.
A memorial celebration will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 27 at Northpoint Church in Poulsbo, followed by a reception. She will be laid to rest in a private graveside ceremony at Floral Hills Cemetery in Lynnwood, close to her childhood home. Sign the online guest book at www.rill.com.
