Bainbridge native Nancy Lee Foss, age 83, died April 9 at Bremerton Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born July 1, 1919 on Bainbridge to Charles A. and Frances (Edna) Lindquist.

She attended grade school at the old Pleasant Beach School and graduated from Bainbridge Island High School.

In 1944, she took a job with the Winslow Marine Shipyard. She latter worked for American Marine Bank on the island.

She married Cecil Foss in Port Blakely on May 21, 1948. The couple owned Foss Boat Building Co. in Eagledale. She was a member of Eastern Star.

She is survived by her first cousin, Shirley M. Peterson of Poulsbo. At her request, there will be no services. Remembrances can be made to the Bainbridge Island Historical Society.
