Paul Thorne, 78, of Eglon, passed away of heart failure on September 24, 2020.

Paul was born in Port Gamble, Washington to Hellin Sevon and Thure Thorne on March 17, 1942. He graduated from North Kitsap High School and then went on to serve in the Army. After the Army he went to work for Fred Hill until he retired.

He married Kathy Partyke on November 22 and they raised their family together in Eglon, Washington. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved restoring old cars and tractors in his spare time.

Paul is survived by his wife Kathy Thorne, his sons Jeff Thorne (Melissa Compton), Jason Thorne (Natalie), daughter Jennifer Childs (Justin), brother Clyde Thorne (Carol), niece Susan Lindsey (Brad), nephew Keith Thorne (Betsy), six grandchildren: Cobee Childs, Skyler Thorne, Hayden Compton, Matix Thorne, Stella Thorne, Hannah Thorne and many more beloved family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Eglon Improvement Club (8440 Eglon Rd, NE Kingston, WA 98346).
