Rose Winifred Farrier, 90, died Dec. 31 at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.
She was born March 10, 1915, in Fruitland, Wash., to Nazare Brisbois and Bertha Finley.
She graduated from Davenport Washington High School in 1933 and attended college at Eastern Washington University.
In 1937 she married Alvin Farrier, and they lived in Ritzville, Walla Walla and Pasco, Wash., as well as Portland, Ore.
They moved to Bainbridge Island in 1993.
Rose worked as an office assistant in doctors’ offices and enjoyed hiking and golf.
She is survived by her children, Betty David and Aldine Farrier of Seattle and Jane Woodyard of Suquamish; siblings Joseph Brisbois and Clifford Brisbois, both of Fruitland, Wash., Eugene Brisbois of Brewster, Wash., Alfred Brisbois of Tacoma, and Mary Jane Morrow of Sacramento, Calif.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
At her request, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
