Shirley Paterson “Pat” Johnson passed away on April 27, 2018 at home with two of her children and her beloved dog at her side after bravely battling cancer for almost three years.

She lived on Bainbridge Island for 55 years and worked at the Winslow Clinic for 27 years.

She was born Shirley Margaret Ellen Paterson on July 11, 1926 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, of 62 years.

She is survived by her children: Robin Yuen (Wes) of Beaverton, Oregon, Kris Johnson of Bellingham, Eric Johnson (Amy) of Federal Way and Craig Johnson (Paige Styler) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Ethan Johnson of Seattle, Noah Johnson of Federal Way, Ian Johnson of Santa Rosa, California, Jack Styler of Milwaukee, Wisc. and Zoe Styler of Milwaukee, Wisc.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 30 at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church on Bainbridge Island. A celebration of life reception will follow at 5 p.m. at the Poulsbo Yacht Club in Poulsbo.
