Former Bainbridge resident Sue Johnson, age 57, died Dec. 16 after a short battle with cancer.

She spent a career in medicine as a nurse. She recently moved to Westwood, California after living on Bainbridge Island for many years.

She is survived by daughter-in-law Madeline Johnson of Bainbridge Island, and several grandchildren in California, Nevada, and on Bainbridge Island.

Private family services will be held in Westwood, California.
