Tad James Reid of Bainbridge Island died March 6 while working on his property. He was 47.

He was the son of James C. Reid and Ramona (Wrona) Reid.

He grew up in Port Gamble and graduated from North Kitsap High in 1981.

Reid’s father preceded him in death.

He is survived by his son Taylor, 15; his mother, Ramona Reid of Poulsbo; and sister Karen Porter (Dave) of Chimacum; and a special friend, Linda Rothermich of Silverdale.

A celebration of his life will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at the Hood Canal Vista Pavilion in Port Gamble.
