Thomas Richard Selby

February 8, 1927 – May 7, 2010

Thomas R. Selby was born on February 8, 1927 in Youngstown, Ohio to Thomas and Bessie (Grafmeyer) Selby. He passed away on May 7, 2010 at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton, WA at the age of 83.

He married Marilyn Sabolia in Montebello, California in 1951 and worked for PriceWaterhouse, LLP in the Los Angeles and Orange County offices until retiring as a partner in 1987. Tom and Marilyn resided on Bainbridge Island for almost twenty years. In his retirement, Tom was an avid reader, student of American history and devoted grandfather to his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marilyn; daughter, Malinda Siegel, both of Bainbridge Island; sons Thomas J. Selby of Maui, HI and Doulas P. Selby of McMinnville, OR; and his grandchildren Nicole, Aubrey , Laura , Greyson and Madeline.

A Memorial Scattering of Ashes will occur on July 25, 2010 at 7:00pm. Friends and family wishing to attend please meet at Eagle Harbor public boat dock on Bainbridge Island on 7/25/10 at 6:45pm.
