President Donald Trump’s “fake news” fantasy was shattered by reality last week as details emerged of a secret meeting between the top members of his presidential campaign and his Russian backers at Trump Tower the summer before the November election.
And faster than a tweetin’ Trump, cartoonists the nation and world over had a field day with the disclosure. Emails — released by Donald Trump Jr. himself — spelled an end to any doubt the Trump campaign had been working with Russian operatives during the 2016 Election.
It was a wild Week 26 for the president, even before his trip to Paris and the collapse of Trumpcare.
