Trump’s first week in office: In cartoons

Cartoonists had no shortage of controversies to chronicle with pen and ink during President Trump’s first week in office.

From bogus claims of millions of illegals casting votes last November, to “alternative facts” to a border wall along the country’s southern border, cartoonists were challenged, no doubt, by the activity at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Here’s a gallery of some of the humorous — some may say scary — developments over the past week.

Represented cartoonists are:

John Darkow, Columbia Daily Tribune, Missouri

Dave Granlund, Politicalcartoons.com

RJ Matson, CagleCartoons.com

Nate Beeler, The Columbus Dispatch

Bill Day, Cagle Cartoons

Steve Sack, The Minneapolis Star Tribune

Adam Zyglis, The Buffalo News

Manny Francisco, Manila, The Phillippines

Deng Coy Miel, Singapore
