Seven Bainbridge High School Spartans made the All-Olympic League football team.
Bainbridge wide receiver Luke Lavigne and offensive lineman Sasha Hermann made the first team. Making the second team was Micah Bryant at running back. Axel Gibson made first-team defensive lineman, and Finn Clark was a defensive back. On the second team on defense for the Spartans were Connor Sweeney on the line and AJ JensenLopez at linebacker.
North Kitsap High School senior quarterback/safety Colton Bower won the league’s Most Valuable Player award for the third time. Bower has thrown 35 touchdowns with only one interception. Bower’s favorite receiver, sophomore Logan Sloman, also made first-team all-league, as did lineman Quinn Knivila-Ritchie. Making the second team were three offensive linemen: Carter Dowlearn, Lincoln Hawkins and Hammou. Wide receiver Lincoln Castillo also made the second team.
Junior Sofian Hammou was the defensive MVP. Making first-team all-league on the line was Blake Shipp. Both Ethan Guerra and Jordan Reece made it at linebacker, and Castillo as a defensive back. Making the second team on defense were backs Benen Lawler and Sloman. Kicker Diego Deluna was the first team all-league kicker. The coaching staff also was named the league’s best.
For Kingston, Noah Walter made the second team as a wide receiver. On defense, Modou Suso made it as a linebacker on the second squad.
