The Bainbridge High School varsity boys water polo team bested the visitors from Bellevue Oct. 3, upping their overall season record to 5-2.

Goals for the Spartans were scored by Nate Lapin (seven), David Burton (three), Jacques Defawe (three), Gabe Nathan (two), Eamon Greathouse (two), Harrison Villella (one) and Oksar Bannister (one).

For the JV Spartan squad, too, it was a good night. They likewise beat Bellevue 13-9.

The senior Spartan team subsequently commenced a three-game road streak and will next play at home at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22 — their final home match of the regular season — against Mercer Island.
