Bainbridge High School played host to two intense varsity lacrosse matches Wednesday, March 26.
The boys team battled visitors from Columbine, Col., in the first contest of the night. A last-second goal by the Spartans evened up the score and took the match into overtime where the Rebels managed to gain initial ball control and scored the winning point quickly resulting in a 7-6 loss for BHS.
Then, the girls team managed to remain undefeated so far this season after dominating Issaquah 13-7. It was a critical win for Bainbridge, as Issaquah is widely considered one of the teams to watch this year having completed last season tied for second place in the Snoqualmie Conference.
